Experimental validation shows temperature stability of address frequency in addressable fiber bragg structures, indicating robust performance under thermal influence.
This work introduces a novel addressable fiber Bragg structures (AFBS) configuration employing parallel fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) inscribed in separate optical fibers. The proposed design reduces fabrication cost and complexity, preserves spectral integrity, and achieves a spatial size suitable for point measurements. Experimental validation under thermal influence demonstrates robust invariance to temperature changes, with the address frequency (302.866 GHz) remaining stable up to 80°C. However, strain testing reveals address frequency drift (297.199–274.504 GHz at 50–250 με), attributed to non-uniform pre-strain during bonding and asymmetric mechanical loading.
