Case study analyzes design syntactic elements in slow fashion shoes, highlighting their impact on sustainability and aesthetics.
Slow fashion has emerged as a movement that promotes a sustainable approach to fashion, emphasizing ethical production, eco-friendly materials, and conscious consumption. Within this context, the visual configuration of products plays a crucial role in conveying these values. This study aims to analyze the syntactic elements of slow fashion shoe design, identifying how the structural organization of these artifacts reinforces aesthetics and sustainability principles. Methodologically, the research adopts a case study with a visual analysis of products from two Brazilian brands in this segment, examining aspects such as shapes, materials, textures, and finishes. The results indicate that the visual composition of the shoes follows patterns that balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainable values, reinforcing the identity of the slow fashion movement. It is concluded that the syntactic dimension of design plays a fundamental role in constructing meanings and differentiating these products in the market.
