The second year of any university degree is arguably the most challenging and self-isolating period of your higher education journey. The transition between the first and second year is thrilling and daunting. Joining my university’s pharmacy student association was one of the most impactful choices I have made for myself. Student associations are more than just a club; they are a bridge between the academic and professional world. If there is one piece of advice I could offer to any pharmacy student, it would be to get involved with your student association, attend on-campus events, and build your forever “pharmily”. Your support network is everything, and it is the key to your success.
