Numerical investigation reveals the effects of magnetic field and thermal radiation on MHD flow profiles, highlighting Bernoulli wavelet efficiency.
This study presents a numerical investigation of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) boundary layer flow over an exponentially stretching sheet embedded in a porous medium, with the additional influence of thermal radiation. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations are reduced to a system of coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) through appropriate similarity transformations. To facilitate the implementation of the Bernoulli wavelet method (BWM), the transformed domain is mapped from the semi‐infinite interval [0, ∞) to the finite interval [0, 1] using a coordinate transformation. The BWM is then employed to efficiently solve the resulting boundary value problem. Numerical results are presented in tabular and graphical form to illustrate the effects of key physical parameters, including the magnetic field strength, permeability of the medium, and radiation parameter, on the velocity and temperature profiles. The findings highlight the accuracy and efficiency of the BWM and offer new insights into the behavior of MHD flows in porous media under exponential stretching conditions. This work contributes to the existing body of knowledge by demonstrating the applicability of Bernoulli wavelets to complex boundary layer flow problems involving multiple interacting physical effects.
