This study aims to identify and explain the causes of damage and mitigation efforts at the Jabal Nur Cave and Niche Site in Jabal Nur Village, Kodeoha District, North Kolaka Regency. Utilizing a qualitative research method, data collection involved both literature review (secondary data) and direct field observation (primary data). Field data were gathered through interviews, documentation, and analysis of damage factors and their management. The findings indicate that damage at the Jabal Nur Cave and Niche Site includes physical, chemical, and biological weathering (due to plants and moss), vandalism, and temperature-induced deterioration. Mitigation efforts undertaken include designating the site as cultural heritage, installing information boards, and educating the local community.
