Analysis reveals properties of the Bott-Duffin core inverse in matrix approximation, highlighting its role in optimizing Frobenius norm solutions.
The paper focuses on a new generalized inverse, Bott-Duffin core inverse, which is a general-ization of the Bott-Duffin inverse. Several properties, characterizations and representations of Bott-Duffin core inverse are presented. We discuss the constrained matrix approximation problem in the Frobenius norm by using the Bott-Duffin core inverse.
