Multi-objective optimization method improves visual coherence in public spaces, suggesting effective design strategies.
In order to solve the problem of spatial fragmentation in public space and make the space present an orderly and neat overall effect, the multi-objective optimization design method of public space environmental art based on the layout of cultural etiquette is studied. Through the layout of cultural etiquette, the location and appearance of Cuizhu lofty and Mingyue House are initially designed for the environmental art of public space to solve the problems of spatial fragmentation in public space; the entropy weight method of intuitional trapezoidal fuzzy number and the improvement of hierarchical analysis method are utilized to compute the combination of weights of the evaluation indexes of the layout of cultural etiquette for the environmental art of public space; the relative proximity of cultural etiquette is computed through the improvement of the grey correlation analysis method combined with the combination of the weights; by maximizing the relative proximity of the layout of cultural etiquette and the residents’ satisfaction as the objective function, a multi-objective optimization model of the environmental art of the public space is set up to obtain the optimization design scheme of adjusting the location of the area and modifying the appearance, so as to make the space present the overall effect of order and tidiness. The experiment proves that: the method can effectively complete the preliminary design of environmental art in public space; the method can effectively calculate the weights of the evaluation indexes of cultural etiquette layout and complete the evaluation of cultural etiquette layout; the method can effectively adjust the location of the area and modify the appearance of the area to realize the multi-objective optimization design of environmental art in public space; after the optimization of the design of this method, the visual coherence index of the public space is higher, i.e., the effect of optimized design is better.
