Research shows enhanced energy security through optimized nuclear, wind, and solar integration in energy systems, indicating a need for multi-energy solutions.
The top-level design of the country requires better utilization of the integration of source, grid, load, and storage, as well as multi-energy complementarity, in ensuring energy security, and actively exploring its implementation path. The “14th Five-Year Plan for Modern Energy System” proposes to innovate the integration of power source, grid, load, and storage, and the planning, construction, and management mechanism of multi-energy complementary projects, promoting the integration of project planning, construction implementation, operation regulation, and management. As an important low-carbon power source, nuclear power should actively innovate its development model and integrate multi-energy complementarity. This article obtains the power optimization configuration results of the wind solar nuclear energy storage integrated clean energy base through the power system production simulation method, providing a reference for nuclear power to participate in multi-energy complementarity.
