Analysis shows improved task allocation and safety standards in power grid warehouses using multi-crane scheduling techniques.
This research investigates a multi-crane scheduling problem from a power grid warehouse. The objective of this problem is to optimize the sorting and allocation of tasks while ensuring that the crane operation meets the safety standard. We formulate the problem as a mixed integer programming model and solve it via a commercial solver. The data experiment of a power grid warehouse shows this model can effectively reflect the operating characteristics of multiple cranes in the warehouse and offering significant multi-cranes operation solutions.
