Women are the only ones who are seriously distressed by gender conventions. In nations like India, prejudices against women still exist, primarily due to cultural norms. For generations, women have been obedient, and their submissiveness has become ingrained in the culture of being a woman. Nonetheless, contemporary women aspire to transcend the societal constraints that repress them under the guise of gender. Women have begun to challenge the peculiarities that are imposed on them. This paper aims to expose the revolutionary culture that is mirrored in Kavery Nambisan’s The Hills of Angheri. The study additionally investigates the ways that a revolutionary culture might make people’s lives more prosperous.
