Conventional learning methods often face obstacles in providing an interactive and relevant practicum experience with technological developments. This research aims to develop an innovative Internet of Things (IoT)-based training kit for the Electricity Measurement course. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The research sample amounted to 110 students of Electrical Engineering at the State University of Surabaya. Samples were taken using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the socialization of IoT-based trainer kits in the Electricity Measurement course, based on user responses, were an average of 93.33%, which is very effective and needed in learning. The learning results at the implementation stage showed a 100% increase in student knowledge so that it could be categorized as complete learning. The results of the study show that the development of training kits can be an effective solution to improve the quality of learning and the development of other IoT-based learning media in the field of engineering education.
