This research presents an innovative FRT method manipulating the extended Hopf algebra, implicating new properties of spin representations.
We provide a Faddeev-Reshetikhin-Takhtajan RTT approach to the extended Hopf algebra [Formula: see text] containing the Drinfeld-Jimbo algebra [Formula: see text] of adjoint type as a Hopf subalgebra, which is a generalized Drinfeld-Jimbo algebra [Formula: see text] of simply connected type with a subgroup [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text]. To do that, the non-standard [Formula: see text]-functionals and their properties for the 8-dimensional spin representation of [Formula: see text] are investigated for the first time.
