Case study demonstrates Ayurvedic management of complex fistula-in-ano, highlighting treatment challenges.
A fistula-in-Ano is an irregular, chronic, granulation tissue-lined channel that extends from the internal opening of the anorectal lumen to the perineum or other nearby structures. Fistula-in-Ano can be a complicated disease to manage. An anal fistula is divided into simple and complex fistula. Managing complex fistula is even more challenging, which typically affects younger people and causes persistent morbidity.
