Mathematical model optimizes logistics processes in manufacturing, enhancing inventory management and resource allocation.
This paper addresses the critical issue of optimizing logistics processes within radio-electronic manufacturing enterprises and presents the development of a mathematical model for managing logistics within such an enterprise. The analysis focuses on the unique characteristics of these enterprises, namely the extensive variety of materials and components, lengthy manufacturing cycles, and the necessity for rapid response to changes in production order composition. A mathematical model for logistics management is proposed, which incorporates the specific production characteristics and optimizes warehousing operations. The model integrates a parallelism coefficient to enhance the efficiency of component assembly by enabling the concurrent execution of independent operations. Furthermore, the model accounts for constraints related to resource availability and time limitations. Based on this developed model, an architecture for a production logistics management system is proposed, providing key functionalities for inventory management, procurement planning, and the optimization of production processes and warehouse resources.
