The article examines the application of artificial intelligence in the context of vehicle checkpoints. It analyzes the implementation of AI technologies for cargo scanning, including automation of identification, verification of documentation compliance, and assessment of transportation safety. The importance of developing a domestic system of «intelligent» checkpoints, which involves the use of artificial intelligence for the automatic processing of images from inspection and screening systems, is noted.
