Ontological Characteristics of the Image of Humanity in Postmodern Society

The article is devoted to the study of the ontological characteristics of man as the main element of the transformation of social relations in postmodern society. The main attention is focused on the influence of information and communication technologies on the understanding of human existence, the problem of corporeality, the system of values in general. The emphasis is on the consideration of the mythologizing of social relations within the postmodern paradigm, the place of the category of freedom, and, accordingly, the question of posthumanity, «Homo virtualis».
