Experimental analysis showed the catalyst achieves 93.8% formaldehyde removal efficiency, suggesting effective indoor air purification.
Formaldehyde, a major indoor pollutant, poses severe health risks. This study developed an aluminum honeycomb‐structured 10‐MnO x /CeO 2 catalyst integrated with nonthermal plasma (NTP) technology to overcome limitations of powdered catalysts. Experimental results demonstrate that the monolithic catalyst reduces formaldehyde concentration from 1.30 mg/m 3 to <0.08 mg/m 3 within 40 min at room temperature, achieving 93.8% removal efficiency. After eight drops and continuous 14 days of testing, it maintains >90% efficiency with robust adhesion, stability, and reusability. This work provides an efficient and eco‐friendly solution for indoor air purification, offering significant engineering and scientific value for developing robust air‐cleaning catalysts.
