Case presenting acute tingling and numbness with autonomic failure, highlighting an unusual diagnosis.
A 34-year-old Indian male presented with a four-month history of acute onset tingling and numbness in both lower limbs associated with palmoplantar blisters and dysautonomia. This patient had characteristic features on physical examination and radiological findings on Magnetic resonance imaging of the spinal cord. His blood investigations were normal despite extensive work-up. This was an interesting case that adds as a clinical vignette especially for residents while working up cases of tingling and numbness as many unusual clinical conditions present as these common symptoms.
