Analysis reveals A10/B10 stacking offers superior electromagnetic interference shielding and mechanical properties.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the nanofillers and identify the most suitable stacking sequence to achieve optimum mechanical and electromagnetic interference shielding performance. Among the prepared samples, sample A10/B10 exhibited electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness ranging from 26 dB to 32.49 dB, reflection loss of −7.01 dB, absorption capability of ∼30 dB, a loss tangent of 11, high permittivity (∼450), low skin depth, and moderate electrical conductivity. These results indicate strong synergistic effects between graphene's dielectric and iron oxide's magnetic properties in this stacking arrangement. These findings suggest that the A10/B10 stacking configuration offers the best combination of mechanical integrity and electromagnetic interference shielding capability, making it a strong candidate for advanced commercial and defense applications requiring robust and efficient electromagnetic interference shielding solutions.
