This paper demonstrates a calculation algorithm assessing stability during internal gas explosions, highlighting the method's significance for safety.
<ns3:p>An internal gas explosion in an enclosed hall space generates a rapid increase in temperature and pressure, resulting in damage to the building structure and posing a potential threat to human safety. The impact of the explosion on the industrial hall structure causes deformation or destruction of key and secondary elements of the load-bearing structure, wall cladding systems and roof sheathing. This paper presents one method for verifying the stability of a steel structure subjected to a load such as an internal gas explosion. Theoretical aspects, a calculation algorithm and a case study are discussed. The loading due to an internal gas explosion was modelled using the equivalent static method</ns3:p>
