This analysis develops a liquid cooling scheme for heat dissipation in functional modules, indicating efficiency and cost savings.
Currently, there are a large number of high-power functional modules [1] concentrated in a certain cabinet. Together with this, the air-cooling heat dissipation cannot meet the heat dissipation requirements of the equipment. Thus, a liquid-cooling heat dissipation scheme combining direct liquid cooling and indirect liquid cooling is designed in the cast-aluminum sealed cabinet in this paper. The liquid-cooling heat dissipation mode is selected according to the heat consumption of the functional modules in the cabinet, combined with the installation positions of the functional modules and processing costs. We design a heat dissipation scheme that not only meets the technical requirements but also saves economic costs, and expound its working principle. Thermal simulation calculations show that this liquid-cooling heat dissipation scheme meets the usage requirements in terms of heat dissipation capacity, flow uniformity, and flow resistance.
