This project develops a medical information system for rehabilitation clinics, highlighting advancements in functional-anatomical diagnostics and compliance with health standards.
The aim of this project is to create a Medical Information System (MIS) called DemaMed-3 for a network of physical rehabilitation centers specializing in musculoskeletal system (MSS) disorders. This system will meet modern standards and requirements for MIS. Based on an analysis of existing MIS solutions on the market and the operational experience of DemaMed-2 MIS, a development concept for the new system has been formulated. The first stage involves the development of a Universal Cybernetic Operational Medical Platform (UCOMP), which will serve as the foundation for DemaMed-3 and other future MIS. A comprehensive set of modern programming technologies has been selected for the development of DemaMed-3, including the HL7 standard, compliance with the Unified State Health Information System (EGISZ) requirements, a hierarchical project structure HMVC, containerization and orchestration methods, etc. To automate the Functional-Anatomical Diagnostics (FAD) process for MSS using the MIS, the FAD algorithm, consisting of 210 tests, has been refined. In order to incorporate the International classification of functioning, disability and health (ICF), a selection of relevant sections corresponding to MSS disorders and an evaluation format have been developed. Additionally, a specialized questionnaire has been prepared to analyze patient feedback on treatment outcomes, and this data will be used to obtain “evidence-based medical results.”
