Laboratory findings suggest numerical criteria for fusariosis contamination in grains, indicating effective sorting methods.
Numerical criteria for fusariosis contamination of wheat, oat and barley grains during photoluminescent sorting are proposed. The results of laboratory studies of the photoluminescence parameters of grain plants in the visible and near ultraviolet range establish the following boundaries of the batch separation criterion for the presence of fusariosis contamination at excitation wavelengths of 362 nm; 424 nm and 485nm: for wheat ?362/?424 < 0.580, for barley ?362/?485 < 0.345, for oat ?424/?362 < 2.404. Identification at other excitation wavelengths does not provide a sufficiently clear separation of the grain by the presence of contamination or its technical implementation.
