Design integration increases safety and usability for the disabled elderly, highlighting innovation in assistive technology.
Abstract With the rapid increase of China 's aging population, ensuring the safety of disabled elderly has become a prominent problem. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the design of disabled elderly household patient lifts. Based on the multidisciplinary integration method, this research optimizes the design of a household patient lift for disabled elderly people. Firstly, the functional structure is analyzed by TRIZ functional modeling, and the function-structure mapping relationship is constructed based on axiomatic design theory(AD). Then TRIZ is used to analyze contradictory problems, find out the invention principle, and propose a reasonable patient lift transfer chair structure. The rationality and safety of the structure are verified by computer simulation, and the appearance design is determined based on the above results. The research results show that the method of integrating AD and TRIZ can effectively guide the design of patient lift products. The design of the chair is reasonable, easy to operate and stable in structure. It can effectively make up for the lack of research in related fields and promote the innovative development of the elderly auxiliary industry.
