Analysis of electric vehicle grid integration in India, highlighting charging control strategies and pollution reduction.
This Rapid increase of hydrocarbons in the atmosphere leads to global warming. In this situation, we are moving to renewable energy resources. With technological advancements, upgrading from conventional to non-conventional methods is required. Most cities enter dangerous zones because of pollution from vehicles and other means. There is a need to find alternatives to existing vehicles to reduce pollutant gases and other methods to improve power quality. Electric vehicles solve the above problem, and pollution through automobiles powered by fossil fuels can be avoided. Electric vehicles can be a key to clean air and support stable operation in grid integration. This paper discusses India’s electric vehicle deployment, its impact on the grid, the crucial role of charging control strategies for bidirectional power flow and ensuring grid stability and control strategies. A dq control strategy is proposed to integrate vehicle-to-grid (V2G), ensuring efficient power exchange and stability.
