Analysis explores meditation's integration into Russian culture, highlighting its spiritual practice and adaptations.
The purpose of the article is to analyze the phenomenon of meditation in the context of the contemporary Russian cultural environment. Meditation is studied not only as a spiritual practice that came from Eastern philosophical and religious traditions, but also as a phenomenon that has undergone reinterpretation and transformation within the framework of the Russian cultural paradigm. The authors analyze the processes of borrowing and adapting meditation techniques, as well as assesses the degree of their integration into the daily life of Russian society. The novelty of the article lies in the study of traditional ideas about spirituality with elements of global culture, as well as the reflection of meditation in the mass consciousness, media and educational initiatives. As a result, the main conclusions were formulated about how meditation practices were perceived, adapted or transformed in the post-Soviet space, and what their role is in the formation of a new spiritual identity.The article is based on a philosophical and cultural approach, includes elements of comparative analysis, and touches on issues of symbolism, values, and worldview orientations inherent in various cultural models. The work will be of interest to researchers in the field of cultural studies, philosophy of culture, religious studies, as well as to anyone interested in the transformation of spiritual practices in the context of globalization and cultural diversity in modern Russia.
