Experiment demonstrates enhanced automatic focusing in multispectral cameras, indicating improved image quality for surveillance systems.
In this paper, we consider the method of automatic focusing of the optical channel of a multispectral camera, which is an element of the viewing system. A mathematical apparatus is presented that illustrates the essence of the automatic focusing method by analyzing the thermal imaging channel of a multispectral camera. The results of a full-scale experiment conducted in laboratory conditions close to real conditions are described.
