La reconstrucción nacional demanda la presencia de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana

While the country walked for several decades through a conflictive and contradictory process of “modernizing development” that did not allow the substantial progress of Mexican society, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) moved against the current by promoting its particular educational project to collaborate in building another model of country through the elaboration and transmission of critical knowledge that would allow improving the living conditions of our communities. That is, it bet on creating another awareness of historical change through the promotion of education, science and culture, challenging the social transformation of reality, via the analytical training of new generations. In this way, UAM committed itself for several decades to respond to society by building the professional awareness that would contribute to resolving the enormous burdens that impede the advancement of the country.
