Redescriptions of Isotenes inae and Planostocha cumulata highlight morphological features, suggesting further study on Tortricidae.
The present study includes redescriptions of two species belonging to the tribe Archipini (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae: Tortricinae), namely Isotenes inae (Diakonoff, 1948) and Planostocha cumulata (Meyrick, 1907) from India. These species are redescribed based on adult morphological characters, wing venation male and female genitalia. Photographic illustrations of the adult habitus, wing venation, distribution and taxonomic notes are provided for both sexes of each species.
