Experimental results demonstrate a proportional relationship between input voltage and revolution speed, indicating a non-contact type motor's efficiency.
A new advanced ultrasonic motor is described. It is a non-contact type one, so that the friction force is not used. In this paper, some experimental results are shown. The revolution speed without mechanical load was proportional to the input voltage, and the maximum revolution speed was about 3000 rpm.
