Smart elderly care robot demonstrates autonomous navigation and medical monitoring for the elderly, indicating advancements in healthcare technology.
Smart nursing is driven by artificial intelligence, and as an innovation leader, it is actively promoting the diversification and industrial vitality of the elderly care system. The future development direction of artificial intelligence robots is gradually converging towards intelligent companion robots, and nursing robots with the primary function of elderly care companionship will usher in development opportunities. This project has developed a smart elderly care companion robot that, based on independently designed mechanical mechanisms, utilizes STM32 as the main controller. By integrating sensors, the robot achieves autonomous navigation and path-planning functions. With the Internet of Things technology and upper computer control, it realizes functions such as autonomous transportation of medicine boxes, identity recognition and information storage, room inspections, and medical monitoring for the elderly, which reduces the workload of doctors and nursing staff and satisfies the market demand for smart elderly care services.
