Hypertension is one of the leading causes of death and morbidity from cardiovascular disease in Indonesia. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of tomato juice and watermelon juice in lowering blood pressure among individuals with hypertension, offering an alternative method for blood pressure control. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, involving 20 respondents over a 14-day period in Cot Paya Village, Baitussalam Subdistrict, Aceh Besar Regency. Data were collected by measuring blood pressure before and after the intervention and were analyzed using independent t-tests and paired t-tests. The results showed that both types of juice significantly reduced blood pressure (p 0.05), with a greater reduction observed in the tomato juice group compared to the watermelon juice group. The conclusion of this study suggests that consuming tomato juice may be considered a natural alternative for lowering blood pressure.
