The Standard Needed for Conservative Politicians

Too often, politicians who call themselves “conservatives” and say they oppose the destructive cultural trends of the current time do not seek to follow the course needed to truly seek to uphold moral truth and the great traditions of Western culture, which is what conservatism in its best sense is identified with. They do not understand that the standard for a politics that opposes these trends must be to vigorously confront those pushing them and to educate why what they espouse is wrong and dangerous.
