Observational analysis demonstrates improved listening skills in foreign language classes, indicating SUNO AI's potential in education.
The aim of the study is to describe the methodological basis for using the SUNO AI application, which functions through neural networks, for teaching listening skills in foreign language classes in school. This application generates songs that can be used as listening material. The article examines the possibility of using the SUNO AI neural network to practice receptive types of speech activity in a foreign language. The scientific novelty of the research lies in describing the didactic potential of a neural network that generates music in creating listening materials for foreign language classes. As a result of the study, the possibility of using the SUNO AI web application to practice foreign language listening skills was demonstrated. A number of advantages of using this artificial intelligence technology in the methodology of teaching foreign languages were identified. A step-by-step teaching algorithm consisting of three stages was proposed: a preliminary stage, a listening skills practice stage, a creative task stage, and reflection. Each stage includes several steps. Methodological recommendations were formulated for teachers who can use the SUNO AI application for educational purposes in foreign language classes.
