This research explores chiral thiourea bifunctional catalysts for recycling in organic reactions, suggesting enhanced efficiency.
The development of heterogeneous chiral catalysts is a growing research field, as a recyclable alternative to their homogeneous counterparts. Aiming to identify a general and reliable methodology to access highly recyclable catalysts, herein, the structure-activity relationship study of chiral base-thiourea bifunctional catalysts is reported. The solid-supported catalysts have been benchmarked using well-known model reactions, allowing to recycle the catalyst up to 15 times without decreasing the chiral induction properties.
