Due to the regional project of the Ministry of Health of Kuzbass «Fight against cancer», in order to improve the availability and quality of medical care, Outpatient Oncology Care Centers (AOCC) were organized. The Centers are entrusted not only with the functions of conducting oncologist consultations, examinations in case of suspected malignant diseases, timely referral to specialized healthcare institutions for the provision of medical care in the oncology profile, but also with the responsibility for conducting dispensary observation of patients with cancer. During the dispensary examination and examination of patients on the basis of AOCC, in particular in the State Autonomous Healthcare Institution KKDC named after I. A. Kolpinsky, oncologists were able to identify not only relapses of oncological diseases, but also cases of the development of metachronous cancer. Thanks to annual and timely examination as part of dispensary observation and medical examination of certain groups of the adult population, clear interaction between the primary outpatient and polyclinic link and the Outpatient and Polyclinic Care Center, patients were able to receive high-quality medical care in a short time. As a result, new cases of malignant diseases were identified at early stages, and timely specialized oncological care was provided.
