Analysis reveals issues with staffing standards in diagnostic services, suggesting regulatory improvements.
The article presents an analysis of new documents regulating the staffing and regulatory support of the diagnostic service, developed in order to improve the system of organizing the work of medical personnel in modern conditions. The analysis is presented through the structure of regulatory changes in three key areas of diagnostics: functional, endoscopic and pathological studies. Despite the general trend towards optimizing staffing standards, significant shortcomings are noted in the new documents, including the lack of clear methods for calculating the number of personnel and incorrect wording of regulatory requirements. Thus, it is still recommended to establish positions for a shift without switching to a generally accepted indicator and measure of the activity of the diagnostic service in the form of the number of positions of outpatient doctors and the number of beds. It is emphasized that in order to improve the planning of training of relevant personnel, it is advisable to include in the documents the number of studies on functional diagnostics, as well as planned indicators for all types of studies not only in cases of appeals due to diseases, but also in other conditions of providing medical care. The positive aspect of the new orders on the Procedures for Conducting Diagnostic Studies is the introduction of the position of orderly (nurse) for conducting endoscopic studies.
