(Abstracted from Int J Gynaecol Obstet 2025, doi: 10.1002/ijgo.70033) Ovarian cancer is the eighth most common cancer globally in women, and the annual incidence is 324,000 cases; annual cases are on the rise, with a predicted increase of 55% by 2050. The highest disease burden for ovarian cancer rests on women in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), where mortality rates are high and access to care is limited.
