Experimental observations reveal that cross-hardening significantly alters the inelasticity diagram, suggesting higher stress capacity.
It has been experimentally established that the cross-hardening diagrams of titanium nickelide, the martensitic inelasticity diagram of which has no yield plateau, with increasing stresses come to a single curve, equidistant from the direct transformation diagram and located significantly higher than the initial martensitic inelasticity diagram. Based on this, it is assumed that the value of cross-hardening can be significantly higher (more than 50 MPa) than it was previously supposed.
