Motivation: Current ferumoxytol-enhanced MRA protocols focus on lumen imaging, requiring additional sequences for vessel wall assessment, which increases scan times and motion artifacts. Goal(s): To assess the feasibility and effectiveness of Single-Sequence One-Stop Ferumoxytol-Enhanced Vascular Lumen and Wall Imaging (SSO-FE-VLWI) for simultaneous visualization of the vascular lumen and vessel wall in a single rapid acquisition. Approach: Ten patients with atherosclerosis underwent SSO-FE-VLWI. T2-DIR was used for vessel wall validation, with comparison to non-enhanced in-phase images. Results: SSO-FE-VLWI provided clear delineation of both the vascular lumen and vessel wall, showing significantly greater vessel wall visualization compared to non-enhanced imaging, with spatial overlap validating accuracy. Impact: SSO-FE-VLWI provides a time-efficient approach for comprehensive vascular evaluation, reducing the need for additional sequences and improving clinical workflow.
