This analysis emphasizes key safety practices in MRI imaging, suggesting standardization for improved outcomes.
Motivation: The use of MRI is constantly evolving, both quantitatively and qualitatively. But it also remains the ONLY imaging technique that has led to the immediate, avoidable and directly attributable death of several people in recent years. Goal(s): How can MRI practices be standardised to make this imaging technique more ... safe. Approach: I present MRI Safety in the form of a passport, an identity card, where each source is identified by its name, surname, special sign, but also the essentials you need to know. Results: To raise awareness, I recently designed an awareness logo in the shape of "MRI Safety-ribbon". Impact: MRI is a complex technique, the specifics of which you need to know, and there are several sources of danger. Simple but effective steps can be taken to make this imaging technique safe for everyone.
