This research demonstrates a numerical simulation-based optimization in ceramic additive manufacturing, enhancing structural strength and stability.
This study proposes a structural performance optimization algorithm for ceramic additive manufacturing based on numerical simulation, aiming to improve the structural strength and performance stability of ceramic products. First, a multi-physics field coupling model in the ceramic additive manufacturing process was established, taking into account factors such as heat conduction, stress field, and material deformation. Then, a structural performance optimization algorithm was designed, with the optimization goal of maximizing structural strength and minimizing material consumption. The algorithm adopts a multi-objective optimization method, iteratively optimizes different process parameters through a genetic algorithm, and finally determines the optimal printing path and interlayer bonding strategy. Finite element analysis was used to simulate different optimization schemes in detail. The changes in structural performance were accurately analyzed. The simulation results show that the optimized ceramic structure not only has higher compressive strength and crack resistance but also can effectively reduce material waste and improve production efficiency. Compared with traditional manufacturing methods, the optimization algorithm significantly improves the comprehensive performance of ceramic structures, verifying the application value of numerical simulation in ceramic additive manufacturing.
