Observational analysis identifies challenges with intelligent learning platforms in senior high schools, suggesting improved training and management.
The application of intelligent learning platforms in education has gained widespread attention. However, there are still practical shortcomings in effectively integrating technological resources to enhance the teaching effectiveness of senior high school English. Using a senior high school in Tangshan as an example, this paper analyzes the application and influencing factors of intelligent learning platforms, taking the Seewo whiteboard as an example, in English teaching through classroom observation and interviews. The study reveals that while the Seewo whiteboard significantly improves classroom interactivity and student interest, its effectiveness is constrained by differences in teachers’ information technology capabilities, insufficient innovation in teaching models, and equipment stability issues. Specifically, new teachers face time-consuming lesson preparation problems, and veteran teachers have low usage rates of advanced functions; teaching remains teacher-centered, failing to fully utilize the platform’s potential for personalized learning; and frequent equipment failures disrupt teaching. Based on these findings, this paper proposes recommendations such as strengthening tiered teacher training, optimizing equipment management mechanisms, and exploring project-based learning. These suggestions aim to promote the deep integration of intelligent technology with English teaching and provide references for educational informatization practices.
