Demonstration translates 780 nm electro-optic combs to 420 nm using four-wave-mixing in rubidium, indicating significant advancement in frequency comb technology.
We generate electro-optic (EO) frequency combs at 420 nm by translating 780 nm EO combs using a four-wave-mixing process in rubidium vapor. We translate ≈5x10 4 comb teeth across a bandwidth of ≈200 MHz.
