Key Points

  • Using an effective squeezed bath enhances light-matter interaction, indicating bandwidth plays a crucial role.
  • The study concludes that sufficient bandwidth in the squeezed reservoir leads to significant improvements.
  • Results emphasize the importance of properly modeling squeezed reservoirs in cavity quantum electrodynamics.
  • Expanding the understanding of squeezed reservoirs can facilitate advances in quantum technologies.

Abstract

We study the breakdown of the squeezed reservoir assumption commonly employed in enhancing light-matter interaction. We conclude that using an effective squeezed bath on a single mode can provide enhancement, with sufficiently large bandwidth.
