Analysis of a new 2D hindmarsh-rose neuron revealing chaotic phenomena, suggesting enhanced scheduling solutions in dynamic job shops.
The classic 2D Hindmarsh-Rose neuron is simplified to obtain a new 2D Hindmarsh-Rose neuron (2DHR) in this paper, which generates new chaotic phenomena. Its dynamic characteristics are analyzed, including bifurcation diagrams, Lyapunov exponent spectra, equilibrium points and phase diagrams, etc. The corresponding circuit is designed based on the system and circuit simulation was carried out. The results are consistent with the numerical simulation. In order to better apply chaotic systems, 2DHR is used to improve the solution of the flexible job-shop scheduling problem with dynamic events. The research results show that the application of 2DHR can significantly improve the convergence rate of the optimization algorithm and enhance the quality of the scheduling solution.
