Analytical and experimental findings show that thermoelectric modules effectively manage chilling and warming, indicating dual functionality.
This study presents an analytical and experimental study on the integration of thermoelectric modules into the simultaneous operation of chilling and warming applications. The system involves a non-magnetic stainless steel, insulation materials, thermoelectric modules with its one side exposed to the heating section of the warming section and the other side attached to the cooling section of the chilling section. It was found out the maximum temperature reached for warming applications is 40°C while chilling temperature is 12°C. Both temperatures are within the standard general warming and chilling applications. The Peltier coefficient obtained was 0.25 V while the Seebeck coefficient was 0.37 V/K and Thomson coefficient was 0.0092 V/K.
