This paper demonstrates how AI optimizes renewable energy resources in the green transition, highlighting both economic and environmental benefits.
In today's world, the growth of the green transition will accelerate sustainable development, and the introduction of artificial intelligence in renewable energy sources represents a significant achievement in reaching this goal. AI enables resource management and optimized energy consumption with a lower environmental impact by shifting to sustainable energy models. It assists in data analysis of solar and wind power plants and intelligent energy grid management. The motivations for applying artificial intelligence are not only related to the economic aspect of cost reduction but also to system optimization, which brings not only environmental benefits but also significant operational cost savings for many companies while creating new opportunities for sustainable development. Thanks to the application of smart grids and predictive algorithms, the utilization of renewable energy sources becomes more efficient. The aim of this paper is to focus on the technologies, challenges, and benefits of applying artificial intelligence to gain a better understanding of its potential role in achieving sustainability goals.
