Case series evaluates rTMS targeting DLPFC to manage rosacea symptoms, suggesting a promising neuromodulatory option.
Flushing symptoms in rosacea are linked to sympathetic nervous activity and pose a significant treatment challenge in dermatology. In this case series, we investigated the use of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) targeting the right right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex in 21 patients with erythematotelangiectatic rosacea. Our study suggests that rTMS targeting right DLPFC is a well-tolerated, neuromodulatory option for erythematotelangiectatic rosacea.
