The enhanced IDC-ADMM algorithm improves nonlinear optimization in energy management, suggesting new methods for integrated systems.
In order to solve the distributed nonlinear optimization problem of an integrated energy system in energy management, an enhanced inexact dual consensus alternating direction method of multipliers (IDC-ADMM) algorithm is proposed in this paper. First, fully consider the coupling relationships between subsystems and energy conversion efficiency to construct a comprehensive benefit optimization model for integrated electricity–natural gas–heat energy systems. Second, IDC-ADMM is improved by introducing a dynamic average consensus algorithm, eliminating the problem of traditional algorithms relying on global information, thereby reducing the risk of sensitive data leakage to a certain extent. Then, a new information update mechanism is designed, which significantly reduces the computational complexity and iteration cost of the algorithm while improving the overall efficiency. In addition, a rigorous theoretical proof is given to ensure the convergence and optimality of the improved algorithm. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm in distributed collaborative optimization is verified through simulation, which provides a new way to solve the integrated energy system optimization with complex structure or large-scale problems.
